The Property Management and Legal Activities Department (PMLA) shall perform the following activities:
1. plan, organize and supervise the capital expenditures and the construction and repair works within the NSI system in accordance with the investment policy of NSI;
2. plan, organize and supervise the management, maintenance and protection of the property and assets of NSI in the recreation centres in the town of Primorsko, in Kiten town and in ‘Borovets’ resort;
3. arrange the inventories of assets in NSI’s HO and the procedures for their scrapping and liquidation;
4. organize the transport services in NSI’s HO, monitor for the maintenance and repair of the vehicle fleet of NSI and supervise costs and reports on fuels at NSI’s HO;
5. organize the procedures on rental property, or for renting part of them - public and private state property allocated for management by NSI;
6. arrange the insurance of the real estate of NSI and the movable property allocated for management by NSI’s HO;
7. monitor the implementation of the contracts related to the property of NSI’s HO;
8. organize and provide the cleaning and shall be liable for sanitary and hygienic conditions in the administrative buildings of NSI’s HO (high and low buildings) and the yards;
9. organize and conduct the holiday activities of the employees at NSI’s recreation centres in the town of Primorsko , in Kiten town and in ‘Borovets’ resort;
10. organize and conduct the economic activity of NSI’s recreation centres and ‘Borovets’ resort;
11. organize the occupational safety and the health activities in the NSI system.
12. perform legal representation in cases on which NSI or the President of NSI are parties in courts, arbitration and the Commission for Protection of Competition;
13. prepare draft internal regulations, administrative acts, contracts and other documents;
14. prepare draft penal ordinances issued by the President;
15. prepare opinions on legal matters;
16. render legal assistance to NSI’s management, to the Directors of the RSOs, as well as to the specialized and general administration in order to carry out their activity lawfully;
17. agree the legality of drafts of legal and administrative acts, acts of administrative violations, orders, contracts and other documents;
18. prepare the legal part of the tender documentation and the implementation of procedures for awarding of public procurements and tenders;
19. participate with its experts in committees, councils, working groups, which require the involvement of a lawyer;
20. organize the storage and usage of a public procurement archive.
