The National Statistical Institute presents to the users of statistical information the electronic bilingual (Bulgarian/English) publication ‘Average Prices and Purchased Quantities of Main Foods and Non-Foods by Households for the 2013 - 2024 Period’.

The National Statistical Institute brings to the attention of users and respondents the leaflet ‘Labour Force Survey’. The publication presents a description of the methodology of the Labour Force Survey - the definition of the sample and the method of data collection, the main concepts and definitions used in the survey, the calculation of indicators and the dissemination of information.

The National Statistical Institute presents to users of statistical information in the field of the social statistics the annual electronic publication Health Services 2024 (in Bulgarian), a joint edition of the National Statistical Institute and the National Center of Public Health and Analyses at the Ministry of Health.

The data sources are the statistical surveys carried out by the both institutions.

The NSI annual electronic bilingual publication Crimes and Persons Convicted 2023, containing data on crimes with penalty inflicted, accused persons and persons convicted is available for users of statistical information.

The issue includes data about the activity of district, regional and military courts as well as Specialized Criminal Court in penal cases of a general, private and administrative nature. Comparable data on crimes with penalty inflicted, as well as persons convicted with sentences in force for 1991 - 2023 period are also presented.

NSI’s annual electronic publication, Population and Demographic Processes 2023, is available for the users of statistical information.

The issue is bilingual (Bulgarian and English) and contains detailed statistical information about the demographic state of the Republic of Bulgaria during 2023. Data for the number and structure of the population and for its natural movement and internal migration are published.

The National Statistical Institute presents to the attention of users interested in social statistics the newest annual bilingual (Bulgarian and English) electronic publication Education in the Republic of Bulgaria 2024.

The publication contains main data from the annual comprehensive statistical observations characterizing the activity of educational institutions in Bulgaria in the period 2019 - 2023.

The National Statistical Institute has the pleasure of presenting to the attention of the users of statistical information its new electronic publication Book publishing and Press 2023.

The publication contains statistical information on the development of publishing activity in Bulgaria by main indicators for 2023. Data by some indicators, such as: titles; circulation; average circulation of books, pamphlets, newspapers, magazines and bulletins for the period 1961 - 2023, are also included. The publication includes methodology notes and a brief analysis.
