According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute at the end of June 2015 the number of employees under labour contract increased by 3.6% as compared to the end of March 2015 and reached 2.31 millions.
In the second quarter of 2015 in comparison with the first quarter of 2015 the average monthly wages and salaries increased by 2.3% getting 879 BGN.
Similar to statistics of human population, business demography describes the life cycle of the enterprises; their birth, survival and development until death. More specifically business demography supplies data on number of active enterprises, number of newborn enterprises, proportion of survived enterprises and data on changes in employment figures at specific moment in time.
In May 2015 compared to April 2015 an increase of the production of liquefied petroleum gases - by 12.5% and transport diesel - by 2.1% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the production of solid fuels by 19.1%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 3.1%, natural gas - by 12.5% and electricity - by 14.5% is reported.
In May 2015 compared to April 2015 an increase of the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases - by 5.9% and unleaded motor gasoline - by 62.1% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the deliveries of solid fuels - by 19.1%, transport diesel - by 7.0%, natural gas - by 14.3% and electricity - by 10.2% is reported.
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in June 2015 increased by 0.2% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2014 the domestic prices fell by 0.3%. Total Producer Price Index in June 2015 declined by 0.6% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2014 the prices went down by 0.2%.
In July 2015 the total business climate indicator decreases by 1.8 percentage points compared to its level from the previous month which is due to the more unfavourable business climate in industry, retail trade and service sector.
In June 2015, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 468.3 thousand or by 13.9% above the registered in June 2014. The trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) in June 2015 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 44.1%, followed by the trips with holiday and recreation purposes - 33.3%, and with professional purpose - 22.6%.
In June 2015, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 1 133.5 thousand or by 3.7% below the level of June 2014. A decrease was registered in the trips with holiday and recreation purpose by 23.9%, while the trips with other purposes and with professional purpose increased by 42.2% and 4.6% respectively.
The consumer price index in June 2015 compared to May 2015 was 99.1%, i.e. the monthly inflation was -0.9%.
