According to the preliminary data, in October 2021 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the basis of seasonally adjusted data was 1.2% below the level of the previous month. In October 2021, the calendar adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 1.9% in comparison with the same month of 2020.
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in October 2021 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices increased by 0.6% compared to the previous month. The calendar adjusted turnover rose by 7.6% compared to the same month of the previous year.

Total Producer Price Index in October 2021 increased by 3.8% compared to the previous month and by 24.1% compared to the same month of 2020. Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in October 2021 increased by 4.5% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2020 the domestic prices rose by 25.2%.

At the same time a decrease is reported for the deliveries of: liquefied petroleum gases - by 18.2%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 13.7% and transport diesel - by 12.8%. No change for the production of natural gas.

At the same time a decrease is reported for the deliveries of: liquefied petroleum gases - by 14.6%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 9.8%, transport diesel - by 8.4% and electricity - by 12.7%.
In October 2021, in the conditions of the continuing epidemic situation, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 519.7 thousand, or by 5.4% above the registered in October 2020.
In October 2021, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 567.6 thousand, or by 35.4% above in comparison with October 2020, as the transit was 53.3% (302.4 thousand) of all visits of foreigners in the country.
