Bulgarian Trade with EU in the Period January - September 2017 (preliminary data)
In the period January - September 2017 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 10.9% compared to the same period of 2016 and amounted to 25 542.8 Million BGN while the imports grew by 11.1% and added up to 27 278.1 Million BGN.
In September 2017 the exports to the EU increased by 11.0% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and added up to 3 156.9 Million BGN while the imports grew by 12.6% and amounted to 3 087.9 Million BGN.
Main Results of the Survey on the Information Society in Enterprises in 2017
In 2017, 96.7% of the non-financial enterprises with 10 or more persons employed used computers and 94.6% had internet access.
Main Results of the Survey on the Information Society in Households in 2017
The results of the 2017 survey on the usage of information and communication technologies (ICT) in households and by individuals showed that 67.3% of the households in Bulgaria had internet access at home, which was a growth of 3.8 percentage points compared to the previous year.
Construction Production Indices in October 2017
According to the preliminary data, in October 2017 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 1.8% above the level of the previous month. In October 2017 the working day adjusted index of production in construction increased by 10.1 % in comparison with the same month of 2016.
Turnover Indices in 'Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles' in October 2017
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in October 2017 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ division at constant prices increased by 0.6% compared to the previous month. The working day adjusted turnover increased by 3.8% as compared to the same month of the previous year.
Industrial Production Indices in October 2017
According to the preliminary data the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted, decreased by 0.6% in October 2017 as compared to September 2017. In October 2017 the working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 2.8% in comparison with the same month of 2016.
Bulgaria and EU: Gross Domestic Product, third quarter of 2017 (preliminary estimates)
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2017 increased by 0.6% in the EU-28 compared to the previous quarter by seasonally adjusted data. For the same period GDP in Bulgaria increased by 0.9%.

According to the seasonally adjusted data, the GDP growth rate in the third quarter of 2017 is 3.9% compared with the same quarter of 2016 according to the preliminary estimates.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, October 2017
Total Producer Price Index in October 2017 increased by 0.5% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2016 the prices rose by 5.6%. Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in October 2017 remains unchanged compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2016 the domestic prices grew by 5.5%.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, September 2017
In September 2017 compared to August 2017 an increase is reported for the production of solid fuels - by 12.1% and unleaded motor gasoline - by 4.4%. A decrease is reported for the production of liquefied petroleum gases - by 9.1%, transport diesel - by 6.9%, natural gas - by 20.0% and electricity - by 10.2%.
In September 2017 compared to August 2017 an increase is reported for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 12.1%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 3.9% and natural gas - by 11.4%. At the same time a decrease is reported for the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases - by 13.7%, transport diesel - by 5.6% and electricity - by 5.8%.
