In June 2025, the number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 943.6 thousand, or 10.4% above the registered in June 2024. An increase in the trips with all observed purposes was registered.
The number of visits of non-residents to Bulgaria was 1 426.8 thousand, or 3.1% less in comparison with the same month of the previous year. A decrease by 9.3% was registered in the trips with professional purposes and by 4.8% with holiday and recreation purposes, while those with other purposes increased by 0.5%. Transit passes through the country were 31.4% (448.2 thousand) of all visits of non-residents to Bulgaria.
